Therefore, we have set up a dedicated international recruitment team as part of our office of International Policy to attract international degree seeking students to our university. Job description
We are looking for an all-round marketing and communication specialist with experience and knowledge of content creation in an international context . You will be responsible for the following tasks:
Preparing promotional materials (brochures, flyers, banners, online materials, social media content etc.) for recruitment fairs (e.g. NAFSA, EAIE, ICEF) in collaboration with our freelance recruiters
Conducting desk research on our target groups and new international markets with our 5 expertise domains
Planning and executing our yearly recruitment strategy and online advertising campaign in terms of content and media channels, and working together with our Marketing and Communication department to contact providers
Managing and leading internal and external communications regarding international recruitment and internationalisation.
Frequently analysing the communication approach of our competitors and making adaptations to our own strategy
Setting up email marketing strategies in relation to targeting potential international degree-seeking students
Maintaining and optimising our English website for students, partners, agents, higher education institutes, stakeholders, and professionals
Working with the admissions team to keep our team lead programme (software to track leads) up to date
Scripting and executing video content for social media

Profile
You need to be hands-on, flexible and able to adjust to the demands and changes of this job. As it is a relatively new position, the canvas is still blank, and you need to feel comfortable showing initiative and trying out new things. It is desirable that you take initiative to put your ideas into action. Be innovative and come with the fresh ideas and trends to the table.

You must have:
a bachelor’s degree.
experience working in an international context (seen as plus).
very good knowledge of Dutch and English (C1), both spoken and written. Knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
interest in higher education, internationalisation, the environment of students and the training of teachers for the future.
good knowledge of current Microsoft suite, affinity with ICT and a willingness to learn new ICT applications.
excellent communication skills – orally and in writing – and you enjoy working in a team.
a good eye to identify problems and opportunities; you "see" the work and you take action yourself where necessary.
a hunger to learn and are open to new challenges.
Offer

• Assignment size 70%,
• Employment as from 01/09/2021 to 31/08/2022, extension possible.
• Status: Administrative and technical staff, Contractual.
