Job Title : Marketing Specialist – Opportunity Management

Reporting to : Marketing Supervisor

Department : Customer Marketing
  • Responsibilities
  • Identify new opportunities to support the region marketing and sales objectives
  • Monitor the quality of sales leads and develop strategies, tactics and training to improve it
  • Work with the local marketing teams to integrate lead campaigns into other marketing initiatives
  • Identify and analyze industry trends that can impact UPS and/or customers
  • Support on market research and competitive intelligence work
  • Role
  • Process ownership - act as the process owner for opportunities development in the organization
  • Process enhancements – identify gaps in the current process and work on closing them
  • Coordination – manage requests from different UPS functions/countries and address issues related to the leads program, system, rewards, etc.
  • Collaboration with sales/marketing to identify new business opportunities
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Market/Competitive research
  • Presentation of conclusions and recommendations to internal audiences
  • This role is highly collaborative, requiring coordination between UPS Europe Region functions, UPS Corporate, UPS Districts/Countries and vendors.

  • Sound numerical skills, computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Fluency in English (other languages are an asset)

Education:
  • University degree - Economics, Business or similar
