Main Tasks

As a Test Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software through rigorous testing practices. Your responsibilities will encompass various Agile/Scrum ceremonies, participation in user story creation, and the implementation of automation frameworks. Below are the key tasks associated with this role:

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum Ceremonies: Engage in various Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as daily meetings, retrospectives, grooming, poker sizing, and demos.
  • User Story Development: Collaborate in the creation of User Stories (US) and define acceptance criteria, including business rules and non-functional requirements.
  • Automation Framework Implementation: Implement the automation framework using Selenium technology and Katalon tool.
  • Test Script Development: Develop, execute, and maintain test scripts to ensure the robustness of the software.
  • Test Data Management: Identify and manage test data requirements, anticipating needs across different releases.
  • Test Planning and Prioritization: Define test plans and priorities, including User Story Testing, Integration Testing, and non-regression tests.
  • Test Execution and Defect Management: Organize and conduct test execution sessions, creating defects for any identified deviations and maintaining their status in relevant tools.
  • Information Sharing: Provide comprehensive information related to tests and defects to facilitate accurate tracking and resolution.
  • Business Support: Support the business in testing tasks, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Deployment and Production Testing: Participate in the deployment and testing of new application versions in the production environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficient in automation frameworks, specifically with Selenium and Katalon.
  • Strong expertise in developing, executing, and maintaining test scripts.
  • Experience with test data management and planning test priorities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and support business stakeholders.
