As National Field Sales Manager, you are responsible for the development and management of the business. This in collaboration with a team of IQVIA Medical Sales Representatives and this for different therapeutic areas.
The Field Sales Manager is responsible for the target achievements and ensures client satisfaction.
You motivate others to drive success
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
As a Field Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for reaching the sales targets.
Strategically, you’ll manage market research, sales plans, target setting, monitoring and reporting.
Operationally, you’ll coach and motivate your team members on a daily basis, helping to drive success.
As a Field Sales Manger, you’ll also have operational responsibility for key clients. You’ll handle multiple projects and customers at one time.
People
- Manage and coach the sales force in execution of daily tasks in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations. This by field coaching and follow up on general performance.
- Take responsibilities for hiring, exits, assessment, training, coaching and performance reviews.
- Conduct onboarding training & Learning and Development training programs in conjunction with Human Resources
- Planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees
- Identify quality risks and issues; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems by create appropriate corrective action plans to prevent or correct deficiencies staff’s performance
- Approve actions on human resources matters
- Build teamwork and act as a role model to inspire trust and commitment
Business
- Develop & implement action plans to achieve assigned goals
- Monitor, track and achieve revenue and contribution targets for the region
- Provide regular feedback on project progress towards action plan
- Be present in follow-up meetings / cycle meetings
- Analyze & produce workable solutions to problems that might occur
- Ensure that staff has the proper materials & systems access to complete job responsibilities
- Drive the efficacy, buy-in and optimal utilization of the reporting tools in place
- Allocate and follow-up budget resources
Communication
- Ensure that proper channels of communication exist between the team, the company & the customer(s)
- Ensure the good use of existing communication channels between all parties

- Finally, you are used to work productively in a high-pressure environment and keep emotions under control
Education & Experience
- General knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical environment is an absolute requirement
- As this is a national Fluent in Dutch/French or French/Dutch with a good command in English is an absolute must as this is a national function.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years successful pharmaceutical industry selling experience. Preferably minimum 1 year of relevant pharmaceutical sales management experience
- Excellent knowledge of selling skills and the selling process
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or life sciences
- Be in possession of a driver’s license
