Our client, a key part of the FOSTER consortium, stands at the forefront after securing a tender to conceptualize, construct, fund, oversee, and operate a cutting-edge mono-sludge treatment facility. The Operations and Maintenance Engineer/Representative holds a pivotal role, meticulously preparing diverse facets for the operational phase of this installation.

Serving as the primary point of contact, they address any inquiries pertaining to operation and maintenance for the FOSTER EPC design team. This role reports directly to the Project Manager of FOSTER O&M, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.

Key Responsibilities of the Operations and Maintenance Engineer/Representative:

• Collaborating, reporting, and coordinating with the Project Manager and Project Management Team

• Active participation in HAZOP/LOPA and RAMS studies from an operational and maintenance standpoint

• Liaising with FOSTER EPC design team members for streamlined operations

• Reviewing and approving operation and maintenance-centric documentation for the plant

• Attending technical meetings to advocate for O&M-related aspects like operability and maintainability

• Assisting in expediting plant machinery and components

• Oversight of smaller operational projects

• Developing comprehensive plans and procedures for the plant’s operational phase

Your profile:

• MSc in Engineering or equivalent field expertise

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Operations and Maintenance Engineer in operational roles within the process or power industry

• Proven teamwork capabilities

• Excellent communication skills

• Proficiency in Dutch & English

Duration: 12 months, potential for extension
