Planning Team Lead

To support our continuous growth and reinforce our Supply Chain, Planning, Logistiek team we are looking for a Planning Team Lead.

The Planning Team Lead is responsible for the production planning on short and longer term of 15 production lines In Eeklo.

You are responsible for the monthly planning cycle (RCCP, S&OP processes). You review supply/demand balance for production lines and work together with manufacturing and group supply chain to find solutions and solve inbalances
You are responsible for the short term planning of the production lines and deal with short term issues
Next to leading the planning team, you also act as a planner in the team for some lines
You are responsible to keep stock levels within agreed target for finished goods
You are responsible to make sure our products are available to our customers according to agreed service level targets
You work closely together with the manufacturing team and purchasing to ensure production planning is done in the most optimal way (respect of cycle lengths, time slots for change-overs) while also making sure we remain flexible to respond to changing customer needs
You work closely with local product management on phase in/phase out management

You have excellent analytical skillsand people skills
You love to work in a fast changing environment. You think in solutions, not in problems
You have a Master’s degree, and relevant experience in supply chain, ideally in a planning position in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of SAP is a must, knowledge of BI is a plus

You have good self-confidence and are able to take autonomous decisions
