The project specialist will provide specialist hands-on support for project managers. They play a proactive role in knowledge management to promote project management methods and standards, and the implementation of best project management practices. They will provide a consultancy service to project managers and steercos across the organization.

More Concretely, This Means You Will Get The Opportunity
  • Run a Centre Of Excellence and develop consistent standards and procedures, including templates, and guidance in their tailoring across a range of project sizes
  • Provide a focal point to promote the use and benefits of the project management method, giving a consistent and common approach
  • Coordinate information about how projects run the standard project management method, their progress and problems
  • Review completed projects to distil good practice and note any factors that unnecessarily adversely affect the duration or outcome of a project, so that they can be avoided in the future
  • Set up “buddy relationships” for new and inexperienced employees; build and maintain a library of resources - training aids, reference material, manuals etc.
Do you recognize yourself?
  • At least 3 years of experience in a PMO role
  • Certified in PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner
  • Experience in construction or real estate industry (not necessarily logistics real estate)
  • Degree in Engineering
  • Fluent in English
