About the job:

Based in Mons, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join the Command and Control (C2) Centre, which is responsible for planning and executing all lifecycle management activities (design, transition and operations) for Joint/Maritime/Land C2 services in the following technical service areas: Land, Maritime, Joint, Special Operations, Logistics, Medical, Military Engineering and Nuclear Command and Control, Military Messaging, Situational Awareness, Operations Planning and Collective Training and Exercise Support.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Principal Technician (Application Support) who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Methods and tools
  • Software design
  • Programming/software development

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

  • Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 5 years post-related experience.
  • Experience (at least 3 years) in various areas of Logistic Software Application Support including some of the following:
  • Requirement elicitation, support and testing;
  • Logistic information management with logistic applications;
  • Configuration management practices and tools;
  • Testing tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to write training and application manuals, documentation and user guides;
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Experience in creating/configuring test, training and/or exercise logistic databases.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
