Job Description SummaryAs Process Specialist you will contribute to the successful implementation of SAP in EMEA, within the boundaries of the respective Carrier Integration and Transport Planning work stream.During the go-live & stabilization period of the program, you will be crucial to assist the day-to-day continuity. Based on this gained experience, this role will evolve to a process specialist in transportation and data management as a support to the logistics operations, day to day problem solving and any continuous improvements within our roadmap.Job DescriptionBe part of something bigger!BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world and is advancing the world of health by improving medical discovery, diagnostics and the delivery of care.   • Understand transport planning processes and how the systems configuration and master data setup match these processes in the best possible way.
  • Perform the right configuration in the system to ensure most effective & efficient operations.
  • System configuration documentation
  • Analyze any defects, resulting from tests, and assist in the resolution process within the team.
  • Support the identified trainers to get them towards the vital knowledge level & experience to implement the trainings for the operations people.
  • Support data preparation and validation activities.
  • Act as main point of contact to support the operational transportation teams in investigating any data related issues and assess the root causes of these problems, including research on potential solutions.
  • Act as a domain expert in continuous improvement projects.
About You
  • Demonstrable experience in logistics / supply chain
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems and/or SAP would be considered a plus
  • Proven understanding of data management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch would be a plus
  • Agile & committed and efficient client service
  • Great teammate and a good all-level communicator
  • Strong analytical skills and can work autonomously
