Product Owner

On behalf of my client situated in the Liège region, Huxley is urgently looking to hire a Product Owner for a long contract position.
The client propose B2B and IT solution for the financial institution.

Do you think Finance and the IT together can be something exciting to work in? Huxley is looking for an for Product Owner for the innovation team department.



Your responsibility as an Product Owner is to take part of a leading role in the client products. You will join a multidisciplinary team and will be in charge of specifying the functionalities of the tool, as well the technical and architectural choices that come with it. You also take part in the products roadmap definition.

This project will enable you to use your skills to:

  • Meeting with the innovation team
  • Functional and technical need of the client platform.
  • Collaborate closely with technical architects
  • Determine scope and backlog items
  • Translate backlog items and requirements into functional specifications, coordinate and delegate these tasks to business analysts.
  • User stories for implementation.
  • Responsible for the product and the primary contact for queries related to the product.
  • Follow up market trends
  • Reactivity and adaptability will be part of daily tasks

Product Owner

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree,
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field of software, eCommerce, XYZ-technology, marketing or product management
  • A PM certification is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand and resolve issues, in the context of IT-oriented projects
  • Knowledge of banking and finance topics
  • Knowledge of business process modeling techniques such as BPMN
  • Agile/Scrum methodologies knowledge
  • Knowledge of the latest technical best-practices including cloud and containerisation, micro-service architecture and DevOps, .NET and Angular
  • Experience in SQL is a plus
  • Creative and strategic thinking
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, client oriented mindset, Stress resilient and organisational and time management skills
  • Fluent in French and English

  • Duration : 1 year and plus
  • Location: Liège region
