Within this story we are looking for a Production Manager in Gent X.

Your goal

The most important objectives of the Production Manager are

• Assume responsibility for the operational production site Gent X
• Take final end-to-end product responsibility for the outcome of the execution of operations within this operational entity with a view to ensuring the delivery of products for distribution according to the cooperation agreements made.
• Coordinate production across the three vacations (24/24 and 7/7).
• Continuously propose and work on process improvement within the production unit and actively cooperate in the implementation of local projects as well as the national projects initiated by the one factory team
  
  

Your Mission

• Defining the annual operational plan with a view to achieving all financial KPIs (budget and QR) and operational processes (quality, complaints, people)
• Coordinate E2E the execution of all operations of his production unit to ensure proper operation and to ensure that the results on the KPIs for which he has ultimate responsibility are achieved
• Improve the operational functioning of its production unit
• Develop the line support teams (TL and OS) to ensure continuous execution of operations in the E2E perspective and to ensure that they can evolve towards autonomous management
• Coordinate the implementation of all Safety initiatives within its production unit
• Managing day-to-day operational contacts with regional representatives of the various social partners and ensuring the maintenance of a constructive social climate through ongoing consultation (formal and informal)
• Responsible for applying and sharing best practices among IMCs in a "One factory" spirit.
  
  

Your Profile

• Level of Education:
• Master degree or equivalent through experience
• Experience required for the position:
• At least 5 years of experience leading a large operating unit in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with and knowledge of postal processes is a plus
• Knowledge of scheduling models
• Strong people and performance management skills
• Solid experience in social relations management
• Language Skills :
• Very good knowledge of Dutch required, as well as knowledge of French and English
• Technical knowledge required for the position:
• Thorough knowledge of the infrastructure and organization of Mail
• Thorough knowledge of the route a letter or package takes
• Knowledge of continuous improvement and lean methodologies
