We are currently looking for an experienced Production manager to join our site in Verviers, Belgium.

Missions

Leads and implements the operations (closed system) strategy of Verviers in collaboration with supervisors, OE head, QA, QC, TS and head of operations.

Ensures resources (people and equipment) are available to run operations in an efficient, safe and reliable way.

Strategy
  • Work with the head of operation to determine the short and mid-term objectives (Breakthrough projects and A3s)
  • Deploy and explain the site strategy within teams;
  • Assess, determine and adjust the amount of necessary resources (workforce and equipment) to implement the strategy
  • Oversee hiring objectives and adjust resources and competencies to the need of the company
Leadership
  • As member of the management team, actively participate to management team meetings, townhalls and related councils. Deputy of the head of operation
Management System
  • Lead investigations related to production issues
  • Support problem solving
  • Implement robust CAPAs
  • Ensure relevant documentation (SOPs and WIs) are established a updated to support operations and training
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitored in compliance with laws and regulations (including data integrity)
Operations Management
  • Ensure that the closed system manufacturing processes run in an efficient and reliable way and deliver expected output in safety, time, quality and quantity.
  • Monitor, adjust and improve closed system production processes
  • Timely report and comment key production metrics
  • Is primary point of contact for closed system production related topics from auditors / customers (internal and external)
Communication
  • Liaise with key stakeholders inside the site
  • Ensure tier up operational communication channels are established and efficient (daily briefings) in all the shift (day/night and week-end).
People Management
  • Supervise, support and develop supervisors and technicians
  • Assess performance of direct reports and coach/support them to assess and provide regular feedback to their employees.
  • Identify training needs, succession planning and individual development plans for his direct reports and coach/supports them to do the same for their team
