RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a ‘Certification Engineer’ for the oil free screw team. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining the oil free screw, coolerbundles and the mechanical design of the permanent magnet motors for the oil free screws.

• You will be working in a dynamic team of project engineers, project leaders, designers and technical experts, who are working together on the development of our new compressors. The main goal is to improve the energy consumption of our products.
• As Certification Engineer, your mission will be to support the product development department by providing knowledge about the certification requirements for our products (coolerbundles, vessels,…).
• You will ensure that our products meet regulatory requirements at the markets in which they are sold.
• You will provide knowledge about certification, standards and directives for our products (coolerbundles, vessels,…)
• Your assignment will be to get acquainted with and understand the product certification requirements and ensure that the product certification is correct.
• It will also be your job to apply accurate directives and standards in order to implement changes and improvements.
• You will act as our link between the product development team, verification labs, manufacturing sites as well as purchasing. And when there is a change concerning new standards or directives, it will be your job to make sure that the product is still in compliance by initiating documentation changes and necessary updates.
• You will also support the development projects for new products in our business area.
• All this is done in an international environment.

PROFILE

• You have a master in mechanical engineering or equivalent by experience.
• You need a solid technical background, theoretical and practical along with experience from working in a company with its own industrialization activity and product development.
• Preferably, you have certification knowledge of PED, ASME, ML,… Certification knowledge of coolerbundles, vessels, coolershells, … is an advantage.
• You need about five years’ experience from a relevant area.
• You speak fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
• You need to be structured, accurate and focused. Besides this, you have great collaboration and communication skills along with a common sense and the will to learn new things.
• You understand the importance of documentation and have the ability to evaluate technical issues.
• You have the will to understand the system and our products in order to accomplish a great work.
