Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Procurement & Sourcing Officer (m/f/x) for a company located in Anderlecht.

Our client is active in the FMCG.

The responsibilities for this position as Procurement & Sourcing Officer are:
  • Take charge of the end-to-end procurement process, from Purchase Order to goods Receipt to Invoice Verification, utilizing our SAP system.
  • Utilize Material Requirements Planning to ensure timely ordering and delivery
  • Maintain close relationships with suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to the quality standards.
  • Optimize inventory levels to avoid excess or obsolete stock, while ensuring uninterrupted supply.
  • Take ownership of your key performance indicators (KPIs) and constantly strive to simplify processes and achieve targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Marketing, Quality,and Supply Chain, to source the best ingredients that fuel the brand’s innovation.
  • Develop and implement strategies for ingredient sourcing, utilizing strategic sourcing methods and conducting RFX processes.
  • Lead negotiations and contract implementation, aiming for optimal terms and conditions.
  • Foster strong relationships with key suppliers and actively seek new potential suppliers and emerging trends.
  • Be an integral part of our dynamic Procurement team, collaborating closely with colleagues to achieve departmental goals.
  • Report directly to the Procurement Manager, providing insights and updates on procurement activities.
The required qualifications for the Procurement & Sourcing Officer are:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 3 years of procurement experience.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive under pressure, demonstrating a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced knowledge of Excel, empowering you to navigate complex systems and analyze data effectively.
  • Fluent in Dutch and/or French, as well as English.
