Description
As QA Manager you will be responsible for ensuring Modis’ products and services meet the expected quality standards in a consistent manner by:
- Implementing and maintaining an adequate Quality Management System (QMS)
- Providing training and guidance to the organization in quality related aspects
- Implementing the proper controls to meet the required quality levels
- Addressing quality issues and related root causes
- Analyzing data and identifying tendencies
- Stimulating continuous improvement
You main tasks and responsibilities:
o Act as expert on Quality Assurance (QA) procedures
o Guide on continuous improvement processes
o Remain up to date on all related quality standards and regulations
o Guard QA processes remain a quality enabler and do not become a burden, not only enforcing & controlling, but also guide on correct use processes
o Supports a risk-based quality approach to ensure a risk-controlled/cost-effective approach
o Develop QA processes in line with the needs of operational activities to assure consistency and quality of deliverables during development and at final delivery in line with applicable quality standards and relevant regulatory requirements
o Align additional customer requirements with general QMS approach, when needed
o Make sure adequate procedures and controls/checkpoints are put in place to track and trace process compliance and adherence
o Support the operations in risk register development
o Focus on a lean, contemporary and effective QMS
o Manage change requests and ensures changes are recorded and tracked to achieve the required business need
o Evaluate business risk of change
o Oversee implementation of change
o Manage quality complaints/issues raised by employee or customer identified as part of delivery, audit or inspection findings
o Investigation of root causes to eliminate re-occurrence and prevent occurrence of quality complaints/issues
o Oversee handling and closure of CAPA
o Report CAPAs to relevant stakeholders
o Verifie effectiveness of the corrective action(s)
o Train Modis’ employees in the proper use of the QMS
o Periodically reviews employee training compliance
o Create awareness around quality requirements
o Promote culture of quality
o Define and execute review and auditing schemes
o Provide quality review and approval of GxP records
o Lead and oversee audit/inspection preparations
o Represent the company during external inspections and audits
o Prepare quality trending reports
o Review quality issue data from different sources
o Identify tendencies to identify required improvements to avoid future issues
o Report quality levels of products and services to relevant stakeholders
Requirements
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor or Master degree and experience in quality inspection, auditing and quality control. S(h)e has experience with implementation of corrective action programs and a deep knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA. S(h)e has a good knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (GxP, ISO). A certification (Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma,...) is a plus.
S(h)e has good communication skills, pays attention to details, focuses on quality, she has a problem-solving attitude and decision-making skills.
