ContextOur customer based in Brussels is currently looking for a skilled and experienced React Developer to join their development team. As a React Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing user interfaces for our Web applications. You will collaborate closely with our product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver exceptional user experiences. Your expertise in React and front-end development will be instrumental in shaping the success of our projects.Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality, reusable, and efficient front-end components using React.JS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development and React ecosystem.
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into responsive and interactive user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and backend services into front-end components.
  • Conduct thorough testing and documentation of developed components and features.
  • Continuously improve development processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a React Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your proficiency in building complex user interfaces.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related front-end technologies.
  • Solid understanding of React.JS and its core principles.
  • Experience with state management libraries like Redux or MobX.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools, such as Babel, WebPack, or Rollup.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience in integrating them into front-end applications.
  • Experience with Version Control systems, preferably GIT.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a strong commitment to teamwork.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with server-side rendering using frameworks like next.js.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL and its implementation in React applications.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library).
  • Understanding of performance optimization techniques for React applications.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum or Kanban).
