Regional Supply Chain Manager EMEA & Russia

As Regional Supply Chain Manager RR ERMEA you deploy and implement the RR global Supply Chain strategy in ERMEA region, ensuring required customer service levels and balancing cost and cash. You will monitor the effectiveness of the regional supply chain resources and will develop and execute appropriate regional tactics and ensure regional targets are achieved.

You responsibilities

• You assist in refining the global supply chain strategy and you actively participate in making the sourcing plans for X+1 and X+5. You manage supply chain related topics for specific RR ERMEA strategic projects
• You consolidate the mid-term regional sales forecasts and propose the optimal production allocation to the plants. You establish the regional sales & operations plan as input for mid-term capacity allocations and adjustments. You lead and coordinate the regional S&OP meetings and manage the execution of the corresponding actions.
• You lead the regional S&OE process and manage the corresponding master plans.
• You coordinate regional/local supply chain execution processes and escalate where appropiate. You ensure targets related to service degree and delivery performance are reached.
• You define the right priorities and solve bottlenecks. You monitor finished product output on a regular basis and align on corrective actions where needed.
• You plan and follow up inventory of finished goods, (imported) HP & wire rod. You are the link between CPD & plant for purchasing of wire rod.
• You minimize the packing cost of RR ERMEA plants. You ensure timely return of packing material in good condition.
• You plan, develop, organize, direct, manage and evaluate the personnel, operations and budget of the regional supply chain organization
• You balance the risks related to the regional supply chain, including corresponding mitigation actions. You guarantee compliance with regional standards, regulations and law. You manage environmental, social and economic impacts, and good governance practices. You support initiatives related to sustainability.
• As RR ERMEA supply chain expert share knowledge and insights with global and other regions and with wider Bekaert supply chain community.

Qualification:
University Masters Degree or equivalent through experience

Experience:

5-10 years of experience. (production, supply chain). Understanding capacities, capabilities of machines, plant dynamics. Understanding of company planning and budgetting processes.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

You are a people manager and can easily interact with all levels of the organization.
Motivate-stimulate-convince people to get things done to reach targets

Understanding of the main market trends and demand drivers ; knowledge on the main capacity constraints and supply drivers

Good knowledge on SC planning & execution and reporting systems. (SAP-BW-excel-OMP)

Fluent in English.
