Regulatory Compliance Specialist

A company active in the banking sector is currently looking to hire a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join their offices in Brussels.

As the new Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will have a key position in the compliance team where you will have various missions and projects in an innovative environment.

Your main responsibilities as the new Regulatory Compliance Specialist will include:

• Monitor the regulatory requirements and the group’s procedures and rules
• Provide answers, advice and information when requested
• Prepare answers when requested from authorities from the Group and from internal and external auditors
• Draft periodical reports to the Group
• Handle and follow-up specific and more general projects and processes
• Draft procedures and operational guidelines that must be put in place or adapted to comply with new regulations
• Conduct trainings and controls

Your profile:

• You have a Master’s degree
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience as, for example, a Regulatory Compliance in Banking or in a Financial Institutions
• You are fluent in French or Dutch and in English

Your strengths:

• You are sharp, analytical and organize
• You have excellent communication skills and you can be diplomate while being assertive
• Through your previous experience you have a comprehensive knowledge development of written procedures and policies
• You are able to work independently, take initiative and decisions
