What you’ll do
The Reward Officer will provide service to employees, executives and HR colleagues with respect to the different domains of Reward (focus on Compensation and Benefits, and as back-up in Payroll) in the form of proactive communication, reporting and analysis, and technical support. This is with a view to a modern, legal and attractive Reward policy.He/She will propose and implement process improvements with a view to further professionalization, computerization and automation.
The development and delivery of qualitative data reports in order to allow policy evaluation and to substantiate certain policy choices will also be an important part of his/her responsibilities.
He/She will also continue to maintain strong professional relationships with external parties.
The main activities and responsibilities of the Reward Officer will include the following:
Manage Benefits (including fleet management)
- Coordinates processes for the operational and administrative management of all Employee Benefits and makes suggestions for process improvement.
- Develops policy recommendations and coordinates their implementation.
- Provides support to employees regarding benefits.
- Is first point of contact for vendors.
Compensation Qualitative Support.
- Develops proposals to increase efficiency of Compensation & Benefits processes.
- Calculates budgets and impact of possible policy options.
- Provides data for participation in salary surveys.
- Assists in the development and implementation of HR policies.
HR Reporting
- Develops and maintains reports.
- Fulfills bridging function with HR customers in terms of HR data reporting.
Who we’re looking for
- Minimum level of knowledge Bachelor or equivalent by experience with a first relevant work experience
- Service minded
- Analytical
- Precise and accurate
- Proactive
- Strong communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of MS Excel and affinity for systems and tools is a must, knowledge of Successfactors is a plus.
- Interest in HR and in Reward
- Basic knowledge of social legislation and compensation & benefits and payroll practices are a plus
- Spoken and written knowledge of the second national language and a good understanding of English required
The Reward Officer will report to the Reward Manager.
