About The RoleAs SAP Functional analyst, you bring a thorough expertise in SAP FI and CO. You will be part of our IT organization and will work closely together with business stakeholders, other functional analysts, product owners and domain/enterprise architects. You will be responsible to transform vital business needs into SAP processes and drive innovation. Together with our external partner & the functional team you will assist in the SAP ECC migration towards S4HANA in the near future.Key Responsibilities

• As Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for creating detailed application functional design and customizing setup that provides the common understanding of the business problem at stake and the solution that IT will provide
• You will provide support to the developers in implementing the solution
• You will perform testing and provide training mostly in collaboration with the business counterpart and ensure a qualitative handover to both the IT support organization and to the key users
• You support the p roduct o wner and d omain a rchitect in defining the project planning, in providing estimates for the planning and work breakdown structure in assessing project changes (effort and impact)
• You are responsible for providing the project documentation
• You create the system and integration test cases, the test plan and ensure execution of the system and integration tests
• You support the business in creating and executing the user acceptance testing
• You provide 2nd line support in your areas of responsibility, also by coaching the first line support to a higher level
• You investigate problems in search for the root cause and the solution(s) within your areas of responsibility

Your profile

• You have 5 years of hands-on experience of SAP FICO transactions and customizing
• You have a particularly good understanding of business processes in the domains impacting SAP FICO. In addition, some exposure towards other business domains such as HR, OTC, P2P, Production... is considered a plus
• You are a strong communicator, with social skills to connect with key(users), project people, IT community and external consultants
• You can work independently, you are able to set priorities and demonstrate excellent organizing, planning and problem-solving skills
• You thrive in a multidisciplinary team of IT and business process experts, located in both Belgium (HQ) and India;
• If you have experience working in an agile IT environment, it is considered a plus.

Technical expertise

• You ideally have a knowledge of the following SAP modules: Controlling (CO), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Product Costing (CO-PC), Profit Center Accounting (CO-PCA), Overhead Management (CO-OM), Financial Accounting (FI), General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), Bank Accounting (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), Bank Accounting (FI-BL) and relevant experience with SAP BW and other data warehousing concepts
• Knowledge of SAP VIM, SAP Treasury, SAP In-house cash, SAP RAR, SAP By Design, SAP Profit Center Reorganization, SAP Project Systems, Mobile Expense and SAP Solution Manager is an asset.
