An international company active in the pharmaceutical sector and based in the Brussels region is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant. As the new Senior Accountant, you will be asked to demonstrate excellent analytical skills couple with an in-depth knowledge of fundamental accounting in order to analyse financial reports.

Some of your main tasks in the position of the Senior Accountant will include:

  • You will update pricing in SAP and other systems following the lasted pricing updates in Belgium and Luxembourg
  • You will assess, with sales management, monthly sales, analyse them and present the results
  • You will manage all COGS transactions in SAP, including non-sales related warehouse and QA related transactions
  • You will provide accurate accounting of Payroll and make reconciliation between accounting and HR
  • You will provide compliance with IFRS principles for IAS-19
  • You will provide the direct tax declaration and ensure timely submissions
  • You will assemble a monthly rolling sales forecast in collaboration with BNL sales management
  • You will collaborate with the Supply Chain Management in order to set KPI’s for service levels and inventory management in the supply chain department
  • You will reconcile financial forecast with Supply Chain Rolling Forecast
  • You will be in charge of reordering products and manage supplier’s replenishment
  • You will be in charge of planning parameters in SAP
  • You will take control of the SAP interface
  • You will analyse and report supply chain performance within Belgium and Luxembourg sales organization
  • You will update the process between our partner and the group in line with QA/RA requirements
  • You will maintain product and customer master data in SAP
  • You will liaise with our financial manager and controller to improve financial procedures


The ideal candidate for this position holds a superior degree in accounting, finance or equivalent and has at least 5 to 7 years’ experience.

Knowledge of SAP MM and/or FICO is an asset.

The candidate is fluent in English and has a good knowledge of one of the national languages (French or Dutch).
