Network Infrastructure Design Role (Network Readiness for Operations). Design and deploy LAN’s, WAN’s, and wireless networks, including routers, hubs, switches, UPS’s and other hardware.
  • Ensure alignment with IT Operations standards
  • Hardware (Manufacturer, model, firmware)
  • Software (version / patch level)
  • Configuration standards (naming, access credentials, parameters)
  • Receive handover from P1 project team (many small handovers)
  • Manage IP schema
  • 3rd level operations support during Construction
  • Monitoring
  • Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records
  • Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, associated plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery
  • Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers and contractors to secure network products and services
  • Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes
  • Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines and other network appliances
Functie-eisen

Knowledge and experience:
  • Knowledge of Cisco platforms and products
  • Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, WWAN design and implementation
  • Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles and general network management best practices
  • Strong, hands-on technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems
  • Excellent knowledge of VOIP CISCO systems
  • Extensive knowledge and hand-on with network protocol including TCP/IP, BGP, HSRP, NSRP, STP, RSTP, SIP, VLAN, OSFP, MPLS, NAT, SNAT, SNMP, SMTP, DHCP, Wireless, 802
