Who are we?

The Core Technology Services team is a mix of technical SAP Basis & Microsoft Azure Infrastructure consultants. Behind every SAP system that runs smoothly at our clients, there is a substantial amount of work done behind the scenes - and screens. In fact, that’s the main mission of this team: making sure that there are solid foundationsfrom the very beginning.

Wearchitect, setup, migrate & maintain the SAP & Microsoft Azure infrastructure to support the business applications of our customers. Our biggest challenge is to keep up with the fast pace of cloud infrastructure innovation. That’s why it’s our trademark at delaware to work on innovative projects, leveraging a high level of automation.

Just so you know: delaware has its offices in Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Lummen, Liège and Wavre, but we also spend a lot of time working together with our customers .

What will you be doing?

As an SAP technical architect, you are responsible for analyzing and translating business information and technical designs into an architectural blueprint. You work closely with Sales to define technical requirements, check feasibility, and design and develop optimal and innovative solutionsfor SAP technologies:

• During customer visits, you assist our sales team by helping them understand and map out the customer’s technical needs.
• Afterwards, you work with functional and technical teams to figure out the business requirements, solution architecture and priorities. Next, you collaborate with business and project leads to determine the technical architecture performance, availability and recovery requirements, and translate those in agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Once these needs are fixed, you decide the preferred technologies and capabilities, together with Hosting & Infrastructure, as well as the Support Service Partners.
• Finally, you createarchitecture and technical design documents to communicate the solutions that will be implemented by the solution designer and technical implementer.

The other part of your time…

• You will be staffed on SAP infrastructure projects as a technical architectto assist with:
• project management,
• the projects’ planning and realization,
• and the actual deployment and implementation.
• You’ll keep a close eye on cloud evolutions and share your knowledge with equally excited tech experts. Together, you’ll adapt the existing systems or develop solutions to fix the problems of the future.
• While exploring the world of SAP & Microsoft Azure, you’ll not only help our customers to make the transition to the cloud, but you’ll also challenge their status quoand help them (and us!) to innovate.
• With your advanced technical skills, you’ll also collaborate closely with other teams within delaware to support them in their cloud implementation projects.Is there a match?

• have experience with theSAP S/4HANA Cloud portfolio (Private Cloud Edition) and withSAP on Azure architecture & deployments;
• have comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in terms ofIT architecture in on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments;
• have a track record of applying your expertise to deliver business impact and influence executives to set strategic technology directions;
• can collaborateeffectively at all levels of an organization and work both independentlyand in various team settings;
• can work under pressure and manage client expectations effectively;
• are solution-mindedby nature and someone with an analytical mindset who can translate the bits and bytes of data in such a way that a business person can understandit;
• are an excellent listener and communicator, fluent in Englishand with a working knowledge of French or Dutch.
