For our client Oncomfort we are looking for aSenior Virtual Reality Software Engineer .

Oncomfort is a scale-up company active in healthcare and the inventor of and leader in Digital Sedation™. Digital Sedation is a safe and effective digital therapy to manage patients’ pain and anxiety before, during and after medical procedures, without medication.Company

Tasks and responsabilities

You will develop new immersive reality features that contribute to the product roadmap, translate design and product documentation into technical specifications and subsequently develop them as new features. You will write efficient code, optimise the general performance of our software and help keep bugs at a minimum level through Unit Testing.

● Mentor a small, tight team in developing successful unity experiences.

● Create remote applications in Unity3D targeting mobile VR.

● Explore new technologies and solve cutting edge technical challenges

● Participate in all aspects of the project life-cycle, from design through release

Your profile

● 5+ years of development experience in a professional development team

● 2+ years of Unity experience in a professional development team.

● Virtual Reality experience with immersive VR.

● Strong .NET/C# skills.

● Strong Java skills.

● Knowledge of Unity team project best-practices (prefabs, asset naming, organised scene hierarch)

● Experience with git, github

● Experience with modern APIs and RESTful web services.

● Person eager to share is knowledge and make the team grow

● Being familiar with the Android mobile ecosystem on the developer side through work related missions or personal project(s) :

● Android Studio,

● Firebase (at least Crashlytics)

● Technology enthusiast, you are open to learn new skills and innovate

● Fluent in English and Dutch or French

It would be a plus if you have experience with :

● Any Continuous Integration tool (Bitrise)

● Ticketing system : Jira or equivalent

● Unit Testing with a MVVM architecture

● UI test with Espresso

● Lint and/or other code quality tools

● CustomViews & Animations

● Some JetPack librairies (the more the better!)

● Knowledge of Firebase Tools
