Server Engineer


  • Working Location:Brussels, Belgium

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:


Essential Qualifications/Experience:

· Current in-depth knowledge and practical work experience of Microsoft Windows operating systems (latest versions) in a large scale LAN-based client-server environment using Active Directory Services
· Current knowledge and recent practical experience of implementing and administering VMware virtual infrastructure
· Scripting (Microsoft PowerShell)
· Experience with SCCM(System Center Configuration Manager)
· Knowledge of MDM systems
· Experience with backup solutions
· Experience with data management and storage facilities, including practical analytical experience of IT servers and system architecture implementations
· Recent experience with server clustering technology, storage systems and backup systems


DUTIES/ROLE

  • Administer assigned IT systems including but not limited to Windows Servers, Microsoft Active Directory, SCCM, Microsoft Clusters, VMware, DELL server hardware
  • Create, install, operate, maintain and support VMware environments and VMs
  • Perform software and firmware upgrades of the assigned systems
  • Monitor the environment and take appropriate actions
  • Assist with and implements assigned project work packages
  • Support specific applications assigned to the team
  • Perform other duties as may be required
