As a Software Architect, you are one of the leaders of an agile development team, within the R&D department, that develops a SaaS solution in the cloud, on recent mainstream and innovative technologies, such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices architecture, …

You quickly acquire an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the technologies, the design and the business of the software solution. This enables you to be one of the key actors who shape the evolutions of the solutions. You act as a leader in the implementation process, and at the same time you master the whole software development process lifecycle.

Your experience and skills enable you to act as a reference on the technology and design aspects. You have good leadership to coach less experienced developers and to propose evolutions, improvements to the management.

Who are you?

  • Education :You have a master degree in computer science, or equivalent through your experience.
  • Experience: You have 5+ years experience with Software development. You can demonstrate your ability to lead an agile team of software engineers.
  • Languages: You are fluent in French or Dutch, with an excellent level in English.

Skills:

  • You have outstanding knowledge of the Java / Spring ecosystem, Relational Model and Web Standards as well as development, deployment and collaboration tools.
  • You can demonstrate actual experience in Layered, Restful, Microservices Architectures and Cloud development in general; Reactive programming is an asset.
  • Non-Relational Databases (key-value, document, graph, …) is an asset.
  • Cloud technologies (AWS S3, RDS, Aurora, Kubernetes, MQ, …) is an asset.
  • Front-end technologies (Node, HTML, CSS, Angular, …) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning, … is an asset.
