For our site in Genk, we are looking for a Software Developer.

YOUR CHALLENGES

As a Software Developer, you will be part of the software development team. You are responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the Java-based applications that support our business. You code, test and implement changes to Java components and interfaces according to functional and technical requirements.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, implement and maintain Java applications
  • Managing your individual weekly or sprint planning and reporting progress
  • Analyse user requirements to determine how to translate to Java
  • Ensure performance and compliance with development and quality standards
  • Testing to verify that designs are developed according to specifications, performing unit, functional and regression testing
  • Coordinating with team members and stakeholders
  • Performing application support, debugging and resolving technical issues
  • Writing documentation
