Mission

As a Software Engineer, you’ll contribute to the development of a state-of-the-art simulation tool for patient quality assurance in proton and radiotherapy. Your work will involve advanced physical models and algorithms to simulate treatments and ensure optimal care before any irradiation.

Challenges we trust you with
  • Develop, support and enhance the MCsquare Monte Carlo simulation tool
  • Design and implement advanced analysis algorithms
  • Integrate HPC techniques (GPU, clustering, cloud) to accelerate simulations
  • Explore the use of AI to improve simulation accuracy and efficiency
What we value

We’re looking for an engineer with:

  • A Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, or a related field
  • First experience in Monte Carlo simulations for medical physics
  • Good programming skills in Python or C/C++
  • Interest in high-performance computing and algorithms
  • Fluency in English
Nice to have skills
  • Programming skills with Matlab, Java, GPU development (CUDA)
  • Knowledge in image processing or AI techniques (ML/DL)
  • Experience in beam modeling for TPS and/or Monte Carlo simulations
  • Experience in implementing Artificial Intelligence techniques such as ML and DL.
