For our SW Applications team in Europe, we are currently looking for a:

Sr. Software Engineer

You will be responsible for our Production Test Component (PTC) software. This PTC software is used to RF validate new designs, verify regulatory compliance or setup a production test for end products embedding Qorvo’s radio silicon. You will be the owner of the PTC SW. This implies you deal with both the embedded SW component, that runs on the IC, as well as the front-end (GUI). Your daily tasks consist out of maintaining both the embedded FW and front-end GUI, aligning with and making PTC releases in time for the Development Kit project teams, and adding support for new Qorvo IC’s to PTC and adding new features to the PTC SW.

Qualifications
  • Experienced C# developer for Windows applications
  • Embedded SW engineer (>5 year), with solid, hands-on experience in embedded C programming for embedded platforms (ARM Cortex-M4)
  • You are experienced reading, modifying and writing Python (2.7 and 3.x) scripts
  • You have experience generating Windows DLL’s
  • You take ownership of your SW, including understanding and aligning on the needs of different project teams, on-time releases, new feature roadmap and quality assurance
  • Excellent knowledge of English, strong communicator, both in writing and speaking
  • Experience with wireless standards like ZigBee, Bluetooth Low Energy or Thread is an asset
  • Basic understanding of RF principles and typical RF tools (spectrum analyzer, power detector) is an asset

The vacancy is open in our Belgian or Dutch office. Our Belgian office is in Zele, close to the E17 exit and can be reached traffic-jam free by car. The Dutch office is in Utrecht city center, next to the Central Station.
