Job Overview

We are in search for a S&OP Analyst who will be responsible for facilitating the local S&OP process and plant capacity planning to support the TE EMEA Automotive strategy.

Tasks Summary & Responsibilities

Plant S&OP Process
  • Lead the plant S&OP process in an integrated way working closely with Operations, Procurement, SC Planning and Finance
  • Prepare and run the monthly S&OP supply review meeting
  • Provide mid and long-term plant load input to finance for the plant financial forecast process
  • Ensure that the S&OP Workbench environment (IBP software) is used appropriately for the supply planning processes
  • Support the monthly Make/Stock analysis according to the MRP policy and TEOA requirements
Plant Capacity Planning
  • Identify capacity bottlenecks within the monthly S&OP cycle and daily work in collaboration with the local departments (SC Planning, Manufacturing, Finance, etc.)
  • Support the decision-making process for tool and machine investments (Duplications, replacements, capacity expansions)
  • Closely collaborate with other functions (Demand Management, SC Planning, Manufacturing, Finance, etc.) to ensure that assigned or requested tasks are accomplished
EMEA Project Management and Program Management
  • Manage projects aligned to strategic priorities collaborating with key stakeholders
  • Lead the coordination and accountability for driving results of critical projects - Ongoing monitoring of KPI’s and indicators
Be a critical player to work with key stakeholders to support program management (prioritization, alignment, deployment)

What Your Background Should Look Like
  • At least 4 years of experience as Production / Materials planner or similar
  • Solid knowledge of Operations / Manufacturing processes
  • Production and Materials Planning knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-direction and motivation
  • Leadership skills for cross-function coordination
  • Solid communication skills
  • Strong computer skills (SAP R/3, SAP APO, MS Excel, Business Information tools)
  • Experience with SAP IBP is a clear advantage
  • Local language is required
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken
  • Capability to drive and sustain performance improvements
  • Team player
