As Supply Chain Manager you influence the organization, and drive results cross-functionally by problem-solving, coaching, and serving as a change agent to accelerate process improvements across the overall value chain. You support the Operations Manager to outline strategic objectives and internal improvements to ensure timely execution, delivery of intended outcomes, and tracking the success of implementation.
Your role:
- Draft and implement action plans to support progress and improvements; take corrective actions; monitor and report on the performance of teams
- Play a proactive role in supporting our current business and the future development of business
- Be responsible for supply chain key performance indicators such as customer satisfaction, cost, and time of delivery to market and the inventory quality
- Be responsible for the operational execution of the strategic goals and vision set by the Operations Manager Direct operational responsibility for the “order-to-cash” process
- Lead operational improvement processes and initiatives at The Cotton Group
- Establish a sustainable learning and improvement culture in the different teams
- Improve continuously the overall customer experience internally and externally
Scope:
- Ensure superior service to our customers
- Be the operations lead in demand management
- Manage and optimize planning and purchasing
- Manage and optimize logistics
- Monitor and manage availability of stock for customer service (dotted line)
- Processes, procedures, tools, systems, reporting & KPIs
Requirements: Experience in Planning and Logistics is a must
- University degree in Economics, Engineering, …
- Min. 10 years of experience in supply chain or operations
- Experience of at least 5 years in a role as a departmental manager
- Track record of successfully implementing supply chain projects
- Expert in supply chain/planning/ERP processes and systems
- Good in guiding and developing individuals in a multicultural environment
- Proven track record of effective business analysis, critical thinking, and effective outcomes for improvement Desired certifications include: Six Sigma, PMP certification or equivalent
- Fluent in English - French is an asset
