ALTISSIA is looking for a passionate Support Engineer level 2, who will provide technical and troubleshooting assistance in order to enhance customer satisfaction. Closely with the members of the 1st line support, you will be responsible for analysing incidents, problems & service requests. You will focus on the resolution of technical incidents.

Your mission

· Answer users’ questions by email via our ticketing system ;

· Identify, track, resolve and report the technical source of issues encountered by end users ;

· Assume full ownership of any assigned issue and stay in close contact with the end user where needed and appropriate ;

· Debug, troubleshoot and resolve more complex issues from all escalations ;

· Act as an escalation point for the 1st line support staff when issues are too complex, take up too much time, or require specific knowledge and skills for resolution at 1st line support ;

· Stay up-to-date with system changes and updates ;

· Prepare and deliver activity reports ;

· Serve as a liaison between end-users, the Sales team and the IT department ;

· Support internal linguistic and IT teams with troubleshooting ;

· Document solutions to problems for future reference.

Your Skills

· Good knowledge of MySQL and relational database

· Knowledge of programming languages

· Excellent analytical skills

· Keen to learn and fast learner

· Knowledge of non-relational database is a plus

· Good knowledge of Linux environment and knowledge of Docker is an asset

Your Assets

· Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field

· At least 2 years of experience in a customer service department and/or as a developer

· Excellent communication skills in English and French

· Client-oriented and helpful mind-set

· Team player

· Autonomous

· Excellent editorial skills and attention to detail

· Stress-resistant

· Good organisational skills

· True troubleshooter

· Integration in an international environment.
