Your Mission

As a Talent Acquisition and Retention Leadat Optimy, you will be responsible for aligning HR initiatives with business objectives and needs. You will be in charge of the entire employee life cycle, from defining recruiting needs to hiring, retaining and developing our current workforce.

We are expecting our newTalent Acquisition and Retention Lead to allocate his/her time between talent acquisition and talent retention, while coaching and collaborating with the existing specialist. All hard HR activities are managed directly by the Finance & Administration team (ie. payroll, contracts, etc.) so you and your team can fully focus on soft HR.

Talent acquisition

  • Identify recruitment needs based on business objectives
  • Elaborate job descriptions in collaboration with the different departments’ managers
  • Responsible for the recruitment process from screening, interviewing and assessment of potential candidates, until sending the job offer
  • Ensure a proper followup with new-joiners and help them for a good integration within the company
  • Provide support to managers by assessing relevant wages for each position and maintain the wage grid
  • Identify and propose recruitment improvements for our "talent acquisition" process and strategy
  • Plan and coordinate interviews and assessments with the different stakeholders within the company when required
  • Help in the onboarding preparation of the new employees
  • Work on Employer Branding projects such as partnership with universities, how to improve Optimy’s visibility on the market etc
  • Manage the recruitment of trainees

Talent Retention

  • Build and maintain a strong retention strategy
  • Work on multiple and various Soft HR projects with the aim to retain and develop our workforce such as “Office improvements”, “Team building activities”, “Incentives”, “Performance management” etc
  • Improve the well-being of our workforce by identifying needs and elaborating strategies to apply changes. Make also sure we are compliant with well-being legislation
  • Responsible for sending “Satisfaction Survey” twice a year, gathering all feedback and proposing improvements based on responses received
  • Be available to help employees who need someone to trust
  • Optimize the employee compensation schemes
  • Work on the training project based on our employee’s development needs
  • Ensure Optimy’s values are well integrated in its culture by the means of various projects and activities (e.g. team building activities)

Your Profile

  • You have a recruiting background and you are looking to expand your scope of skills by entering a new challenge comprising various Soft HR projects
  • You are fluent in English - Clear oral and written communication skills
  • You have about 3 years’ experience in a HR-related role. Experience with project management is a plus.
  • Previous experience in coaching team member(s) is a plus.
  • You are highly detailed oriented, along with strong organizational skills
  • Experience in a B2B SaaS environment is a strong plus
  • You are an excellent team player and are confident in working alongside others
  • You are results-driven and not afraid to work under pressure
  • You are a natural born leader, fast learner, highly motivated, self-driven and creative problem solver
  • You have an EU citizenship or a valid Belgium work permit
