DPS is a leading Project Management and Engineering Company serving industries around the world for over 40 years. Specialising in the life sciences, medical technologies, oil and gas, energy and advanced technologies sectors, the Group provides consultancy and process engineering expertise to leading clients globally via their four operating business units.

One of these business units is DPS Contract Services. We provide contingent contract and temporary labour to the existing customer base within the engineering field for clients in the scientific and technology sectors throughout Europe via their network of offices located in Ireland, UK, Belgium and Holland. We also provide engineering staff to the various DPS divisions on a contract basis.

Role

As a Technical Project Manager within the Clinical Technical Portfolio & Project Management group you will manage complex continuous improvement and innovation projects both in the Clinical manufacturing space as well as projects as part of larger strategic initiatives involving multiple groups within the business.

As a Technical Project Manager you will manage the daily operations of global project teams and drive the realization of projects alongside the technical project leads for a number of transformational projects that will advance breakthroughs that change patients’ lives. You will manage the full project cycle from initiation and planning to execution and closing phases using Project Management tools, to ensure deliverables are achieved on time, with quality that meets business needs. Through leadership and interpersonal skills you will motivate and influence the project team to ensure high performance and ensure stakeholder engagement and alignment. You will work closely with the technical project leads and interface with various departments, development organizations and key business partners to realize complex and transformational projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Defines project scope & deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with the technical project lead and stakeholders
• Manages development of project schedule, including key milestones, critical path and related interdependencies using appropriate tools
• Demonstrates ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization, including senior internal and/or external personnel on matters often requiring coordination between organizations
• Forecasts and plans resource requirements (people, finance and technology) for projects. Communicates project requirements and milestones clearly to enable project resource forecasts and planning in other departments
• Leads and facilitates the identification of operation and project issues and risks and drives resolution, effectively documenting decisions
• Tracks milestone achievement, decision points and prepares governance presentations to support decision making and prioritization

Skills:

• Masters or Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Pharmaceutical preferred) or in Life Sciences
• 5+ years of industry experience
• Fluent in Dutch and English, excellent communications skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead strategic projects with multi-disciplinary teams through project completion
• Extensive knowledge on sterile manufacturing. Knowledge on solid manufacturing or others is a plus. Operations or Tech services experience is a plus
• Knowledge of cGMP requirements and compliance
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent Program management skills
• Certified PMP and/or knowlegde of Agile Framework is a plus
• Preferably Green belt certified
