EntrepriseJobmatch is looking for a technician with a passion for working on heavy engines for a client based in Mechelen. This multinational is almost 100 years old and currently employs more than 1500 employees. They are active in the world of packaging, as well as an importer, producer, and distributor. The company also has various production departments in Europe, Africa and Asia.DescriptionYour responsibilities:
  • Starting the day by setting the right parameters on the packaging machines
  • Detecting malfunctions, mainly mechanical (95% and about 5% hydraulic)
  • Repairing and restarting the machines and being in charge of their maintenance
ProfilYou
  • A2 diploma in mechanics or electromechanics
  • Good knowledge of English, any other language is a plus
  • Relevant experience is an asset, young enthusiasts coming out of school can also apply
  • Stress resistant and able to work with precision, even under pressure
  • Accurate with strong attention to details
  • Customer-oriented
  • Good presentation
  • Helpful and friendly
  • Order, hygiene and safety are important to you
  • Flexible: the first semester you’ll be starting at 6 AM for educational purposes, afterwards you can start at 8 AM depending the working schedule - you will always work in a day shift, exceptionally on Saturdays
