Job Description

At DXC Technology, we act as an independent, trusted advisor in digitizing the client’s business. Our employees are responsible for optimizing their industry processes in the domains of HR, accounting, logistics and IT as well as developing, implementing, and managing their IT governance mechanisms.

We are looking for an experienced UX/UI designer who can play a key role in development projects. Through a co-creative, design-thinking approach for the UX of new applications and features. You are involved in all parts of the design process: from sales, drafting proposals to user research, prototyping and design. You also play a role in building UX capabilities at DXC.

Who are you?
  • You have 4 years of relevant experience in different projects/environments
  • You have a thorough knowledge of UX and UI design
  • You can apply user centered design techniques and methods
  • You have experience in conducting qualitative user research (interviews,…)
  • You have experience with the use of a design system (own, Material Design, GOV.UK …)
  • You know your way around tools such as Figma, Adobe XD and Axure
  • You are strong in design workshops (Design thinking)
  • You have an eye without losing the overall picture
  • You can think strategically and problem-solving
  • You have strong functional analytical skills
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You speak and write fluently Dutch and English, French is a plus
  • You can work independently but are a real team player
Bonus Points
  • You have experience in Design Thinking
  • You have knowledge and experience in setting up design systems (own, Material Design, GOV.UK …)
  • You have insight into HTML, CSS and SASS
  • You have experience with Responsive design
  • You have insight into the guidelines of accessibility
