We are currently looking for a Global Vendor Alliance Manager who is responsible to build and foster collaborative relationships between argenx and selected Service Providers (SPs) as needed that will lead to successful project delivery and build value for argenx.

The position reports into the Vendor Alliance Management Lead.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic partnerships with selected SPs able to support argenx’s pipeline or dedicated standalone activities.
  • Act as the primary relationship level link between argenx and assigned SPs ensuring high quality oversight and excellent working relationships
  • Contribute to and implement fit for purpose governance models / frameworks with assigned vendors
  • Manages governance of assigned vendors to maximise the success and value (cost, quality and timelines) to both argenx and vendor
  • Support the creation of partnership goals, ensure understanding and alignment between argenx and the vendors, and support the functional work to ensure timely achievement of those goals
  • Establish clear alliance level communication pathways and stakeholder engagement plans as required
  • Implement appropriate alliance level issue management oversight and process, including issue escalation and resolution
  • Monitors alliance level performance and overall health by establishing and implementing appropriate performance metrics and reporting, and leads follow-up actions
  • Partner with key stakeholders across argenx and vendor to foster a culture of alliance management and collaboration
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and innovation potential with assigned vendors

  • Demonstrable relationship management skills spanning internal and external stakeholders
Education, Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor level university degree preferably in a science or business discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within the CRO/Pharmaceutical industry in an alliance management capacity
  • Extensive relevant experience in pharmaceutical development and external vendor functionality
  • Extensive experience working with cross-functional teams
