The challenge:

Join us and you’ll be responsible for the Financial Reporting for Europe at the best beer company in the world. You’ll take the position from day one, speak your mind and grow your career faster than you thought possible.

As Finance Reporting Manager Europe you will support the AB InBev’s Group reporting process and in relation to that reviews and helps ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the Monthly/Quarterly reporting packages of the countries in the Europe Zone.

The role:

• Monitors, on a monthly basis, the timely and accurate reporting of all the applicable reporting deliverables towards Global Control, in and outside of Cognos Controller.
• Supports Country and NOCC teams (Finance and Other Functions) as an expert on financial reporting in the broader context (with technical accounting expertise, IFRS knowledge, understanding of the accounting (SAP) & reporting (Cognos Controller) systems and the Month-end closing and Account Reconciliation.
• Ensures compliance across the Zone with the Accounting & Reporting Manual and with the Accounting & Reporting processes and procedures described in the Global/Zone Control Policies and internal control requirements.
• Drives standardization of Accounting & Reporting Processes and increased efficiencies (through automation and acceleration) in Closing & Control Processes across the Zone.
• Supports the forecasting processes (3YP, BU, LE) related to Provisions and Employee benefit Cash Flows; below EBITDA items
• Coordinates feedback/questions/requests between Global Control and Zone/BU’s/Countries/NOCC’s. And coordinate with Global Control and within the Zone required changes to the Zone reporting structure.

Who we’re looking for:

• University Degree – Master Degree in Finance (Accountancy, Applied Economics).
• Minimum 5 years of business and finance experience.
• Professional training in a relevant business field, internal or external audit, preferably with professional designation (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIA…).
• Excellent understanding of IFRS.
• Understanding of Performance Analysis, Budgeting, Planning and Control.
• General understanding of Business Administration.
• Strong background in risk & control (risk manager, internal auditor, external auditor…)
