We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join the team at DXC in Mechelen, who will report to the CBRE FM Supervisor.

Duties:

  • Assist ‘CBRE FM Supervisor’ to provide a wide range of activities on site. Act as deputy in her/his absence for client, vendors and CBRE.
  • Raise purchase orders for goods or services as required, in compliance of business controls at all times. Maintain overview of all created PO’s.
  • Trains vendors on work order and billing procedures.
  • Checks ‘Open Work order Report ‘on weekly basis. Take ownership for closing ‘WO interventions on site by landlord or vendor’. Provides report to FM Supervisor.
  • Assist with the inspections on the facility site of client
  • Assistance with projects on site.
  • Support/Monitor 3rd party maintenance supplier activities when required and report any corrective works arising
  • Report all QHSE incidents to FM Supervisor.
  • Actively supporting preparation of Hazard reports for DXC Team.
  • Carry out Mail Room activities: receipt, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post to attendees and Bpost. Including courier services.
  • Keeping the printer list up to date and responsible for annual Reprobel declaration
  • Check that printers and photocopiers are supplied with paper and change toner cartridges when required.
  • Responsible for meeting rooms (set up, ordering sandwiches,)
  • Co-ordinate site waste and recycling arrangements if needed
  • Act as a part of site Emergency team i.e. Fire Marshall, as required for emergency control activities
  • Responsible for the image and visual standards of the site/s taking ownership of any issues or concerns
  • In addition to the above-mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined


Profile:

  • Ideally 1 year of experience in Facility/property management
  • You have a passion for facility/property management.
  • A dynamic and positive attitude is essential for this job.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and time constraints.
  • You will have the ability to work well under pressure as part of a team and as an individual
  • Key focus for this role is to ensure that all FM services are delivered in a confident and efficient manner.
  • Excellent know how of PC skills and Microsoft Office
  • Good verbal/written communication skills in Dutch, English and French
  • Knowledge and awareness of the facilities management environment is desirable
  • Full hands-on experience in this role is desirable but not a must. Being eager to learn is a plus if you want to become a Facility Coordinator.
