OverviewInternational Field Service EngineerA fully experienced and released Field Service Engineer will work at the customer’s sites as a technical ambassador with high focus on value creation. The engineer will understand and resolve customer requests, will take ownership of assigned projects and tasks and duly reports his activities to his supervisor and the customer.ResponsibilitiesA day in the life of our International Field Service Engineer would look like this …
  • Providing international site support with maintenance, inspections, trouble shooting and support with new projects.
  • Providing timely and accurate service and visit reports as required.
  • Providing technical support for all JBT machinery within the area of responsibility.
  • Working closely together with the members of the Customer Care team to prepare aftermarket activities including services, upgrades, modifications etc...
  • Reporting all New and Customer Care Project sales opportunities to the Sales Managers.
  • Having a good technical/business understanding of the complete product range of JBT.
Items we would be keen to see listed on your resume …
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in (Electro-)Mechanical engineering; good to strong knowledge on Electrical and Automation system engineering is a plus.
  • More than 5 years’ experience in machine servicing, ideally in food processing plants.
  • PLC , IPC & Servomotor knowledge is a plus.
  • Able to travel very frequently and work flexible hours.
  • Self-starter, independent worker and also able to work as part of a team.
  • Strong relationship builder within a matrix organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Other languages such as Dutch, French and German are a plus.
