Finance is a function within our airline organisation responsible for the key financial activities within the regions. The TUI Airline Finance function operates as a multi-disciplinary team of experts driving efficiency and innovation.

As Finance Reporting Manager – TUI Airline you will support the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis with the provision of financial information and high quality support on many aspects of finance including development of the TUI Airline P&L, 3-year strategic plans, budgetary ownership, performance evaluation, forecasting, and driving the business to deliver initiatives.

About The Role
  • Support the TUI Airline forecast, budget and 3YP planning and strategy process to focus on key strategic areas and harmonisation activities to ensure function led approach. In close collaboration with the regional airlines finance team to ensure consistency and commonality across the regions whilst ensuring the market requirements are delivered.
  • Providing robust financial leadership and take full accountability for the TUI Airline Investment Committee
  • Driving a culture of cost efficiency across all business areas within role remit
  • Leading, consolidating and coordinating reporting through Financial Planning & Analysis function within this area to promote consistency and value-added data – to include P&L alignment, functional analysis, benchmarking and route profitability
  • Develop a TUI Airline financial reporting suite to give meaningful insight into the P&L, BS and route profitability performance
  • Lead FTE tracking and monitoring across TUI Airline
  • Take responsibility for the oversight of TUI Airline initiatives assessment and tracking
  • Leading and driving a culture of strong financial controls, compliance, and adherence to regulatory
  • frameworks; ensuring adherence to governance mechanisms for investments and capital expenditure
  • Driving a culture of cost efficiency across all business areas within role remit
  • Supporting and driving a culture of strong financial controls, compliance, and adherence to regulatory

  • Promoting a culture of risk awareness, control focus, and ‘doing the right thing’
  • Leading specific adhoc project activities

About You
  • Experience qualified accountant (3 yrs. PQE - preferably ACA or equivalent) or European university degree in business administration or similar, preferably with a focus on finance or controlling, and several years of experience working in finance/controlling
  • 3+ years’ team leadership experience and experience in setting and achieving strategic objectives and in supporting colleagues across all functions
  • High intellectual capacity

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop great working relationships internally and externally
  • Possess the gravitas to ensure credibility demonstrated at all levels of the business

  • Strong analysis and presentational skills
  • Excellent analytical, communication and influencing skills (both written and oral)
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, multi-channel consumer environment
  • Role requires strong business English, both spoken and written, and may involve some international travel
