We are looking for a finance professional with a broad interest in operations for an attractive role in a growing multinational environment.In this role, the Financial Analyst will participate in day-to-day finance activities as well as collaborate with the Site Finance Lead in supporting the business. This is an excellent role to gain experience within an exciting, strong growing company and a fast-paced and dynamic finance environment, where you will cooperate with colleagues all around the world.You will work at the LCD site in Geel.How will you make an impact?
  • Ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of monthly close activities by preparing and reviewing journal entries and setting up accruals;
  • Being business partner for operations by providing them the data and the story and driving forward looking communication;
  • Perform variance analysis of actual performance by prior year, prior forecast or budget;
  • Submit monthly forecast in Oracle Hyperion Planning;
  • Conduct the monthly and quarterly business review;
  • Participate at annual budgeting process;
  • Inventory management: be the E&O expert, audit the cycle count process, conduct the year-end standard cost roll and support the Direct Labor update project;
  • Fixed asset management: be the single-point-of-truth for CAPEX projects, book asset invoices, create assets, calculate depreciation, forecast on CAPEX;
  • Ad hoc analysis to support business decisions;
  • Seek opportunities for performance and improvement in execution across the organization;
  • Drive process improvement in our financial processes;
  • Work in close relationship with the finance manager, your colleagues at Geel and your peers in other locations.
ProfielHow will you get here?
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related subject area;
  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A;
  • Advanced MS Excel Skills; Proficiency with high volume data reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI and Power Point;
  • Experience with Oracle HFM and Hyperion Planning would be a plus;
  • Strong knowledge of English & Dutch, both spoken and written;
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and presentation skills;
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • A team player, who puts the team and (internal) customer first;
  • Attention to detail and ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
