Financial Controller

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:


Essential Qualifications/Experience:

· C ompleted university studies of 4 years in a relevant domain or 3 years with at least 6 years working experience
· Knowledge and experience of IFRS
· Particular knowledge of internal control, budgeting, accounting in international organisations
· Analytical thinking and practical approach
· Substantial experience (minimum 5 years) in a financial position, preferably in a public national or international organisation
· Broad experience in various financial matters including internal control mechanisms and compliance
· Domains of expertise
ü Financial and accounting analysis
ü Analysis and implementation of IFRS standards, financial rules and regulations
ü Financial internal control
ü Financial audit and revision of financial statements
ü Business process analysis
ü Financial reporting

DUTIES/ROLE:
· Providing support to the Agency teams active in the finance domains
· Providing support in drawing up financial management reports
· Providing support in the analysis and implementation of internal control mechanisms
