Kemin Europe NV located in Herentals is looking to hire a Financial Controlling Manager to add value to the Accounting and Finance processes by coordinating various aspects of finance related functions. Work with other senior level managers and executives on strategic initiatives within the company. Assist in acquisitions & mergers along with future planning on the growth of our WW business.

Key responsibilities of the Financial Controlling Manager:

• The position has the responsibility of ensuring the company’s financials and analysis are accurate and timely and Kemin’s assets are protected at all times.
• Prepare and/or manage all statutory and local reporting of Kemin Europa NV and her subsidiaries. Establish and maintain all contacts with external advisors and consultants necessary to achieve full compliance with local legislation.
• Manage all invoicing, accounting, VAT and other requirements relating to the business of Kemin Europa in the European countries where the local subsidiaries are acting as agents. Establish and maintain all contacts with external advisors and consultants necessary to achieve full compliance with the concerned legislations in Belgium and abroad.
• Administer and review the issuance of rebates - discounts-commissions (RDC) for Animal Nutrition & Health EMENA in compliance with contracts and/or management approvals
• Act as application responsible for the finance related modules (accounting and logistics) of the ERP package (M3)
• Support ad hoc projects in all business areas
• All tasks mentioned in the system procedures and the internal instructions of the quality system
• Responsible for all non-personnel insurances
• Instruct and request information of all local Kemin personnel and external consultants/advisors in accounting related matters for the Kemin subsidiaries acting as agents.
• Responsible for all Tax compliance matters of Kemin Europa NV and her subsidiaries, including but not limited to Income Tax, VAT, Transfer pricing.
• Responsible for the monthly financial WW reporting of Animal Nutrition & Health EMENA.
• Responsible for the annual budget reporting of Animal Nutrition & Health EMENA.
• Responsible for the annual statutory reporting of Kemin Europa NV, Kemin Industries BV and Kemin Aptivax.
• Responsible for compliance with WW accounting policies and procedures.
• Responsible for internal and external financial audits
• All responsibilities and authorities mentioned in the system procedures and internal instructions of the quality system
  
  

Profile:

• University degree in accountancy
• IT Literate, advanced working skills with PC, MS Excel and MS Access
• Minimum 6-8 years of finance & accounting experience in a multinational manufacturing & SC environment
• Excellent knowledge/experience in the statutory requirements and all tax matters in Belgium
• Experience in a general European context
• Language skills: very good communication skills in Dutch, English and French
