As Firmware Engineer,you work on the next generation software of laser-based sensors for the automotive industry. Your tasks involve the following:

  • Develop middleware and low-level drivers for machine vision applications on embedded platforms
  • Optimize the usage of resources, multi-threading and the speed of execution
  • Write efficient code, test, profile and debug
  • Invent, design and test new future products
  • Work closely togetherwith hardware engineers

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Master in Engineering (computer sciences, electronic engineering, ...)
  • You have 3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of programming for embedded Linux or QNX,in a Linux environment
  • Experience with programming automotive-grade SoCs (TI, Xilinx, NXP...)
  • Proficient in writing clean C programs
  • First experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Teamplayer and ability to work autonomously
  • Fluent in English, Dutch or French is an advantage
