Are you our Fleet Sales Manager who is responsible for maximizing the parts business at large national and international fleets in Austria, Switzerland and Hungary?

PACCAR Parts Europe (PPE), part of the world-wide PACCAR Parts Division, is responsible to grow the sales of spare parts to customers in all DAF markets across the world, exclusively through the DAF and TRP dealer network. To satisfy our customers and dealers requirements, PACCAR Parts sells DAF and PACCAR Genuine Parts as well as the All Makes truck & trailer brand TRP utilizing 5 state of the art distribution centers and delivering unique and innovative customer and dealer solutions.

PACCAR Parts Fleet Services (PPFS)

PPFS is developing and delivering prime parts service solutions to the largest fleets in Europe aiming to optimize the vehicle uptime and as a result improved returns. The services include European credit lines, reduced administrative burden, Consolidated Payment, Single Point of Invoicing and an online webshop with fleet specific prices.

The Fleet Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing the parts business at large national and international fleets in Austria, Switzerland and Hungary. This includes the pro-active promotion of sales support programs that are available from DAF or its independent dealer network. At the same time you’re responsible for the internal co-ordination and collaboration between customer-, dealer- and DAF personnel to get optimal results and achieve the targets set.

Prime Duties
  • Identify new and develop existing relationships with large European fleet operators in order to expand the parts market share in line with the growth strategy of PACCAR Parts Europe;
  • Gather all relevant information necessary to prepare commercial offers for customers and pro-actively drive the conversion business;
  • Manage existing parts agreements per customer; price changes, impact analysis on sales, margins, etc.;
  • Take the lead in performing account reviews and translate the outcome into account development plans;
  • Organize transparent and effective reporting on the actions at hand both internally and externally;
  • Train and support fleets and dealers on the use of the various services that are part of the PACCAR PARTS FLEET SERVICES offering;
  • Drive the development of the dealers to perform on the required level as expected by our customers;
  • Collaborate with other PACCAR departments for tenders (Truck Fleet Sales, Service, PACCAR Financial).
Profiel kandidaat

For this position we are looking for a self-starting, analytical, independent, enthusiastic and extremely motivated candidate. Someone who knows and understands processes, who can oversee the overall projects, planning and priorities and is able to make te right choices to meet the objectives that support the division’s sales and service goals.

The Fleet Sales Manager reports to the Director Paccar Parts Fleet Services.

Skills
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in business or technical related field;
  • Track record in commercial vehicle after-market business. Parts experience is highly preferred;
  • Demonstrated abilities in leadership, problem solving and sales;
  • Result driven self-starter with initiative, creativity and ability to influence;
  • Strong customer service orientation (multi-tasking and handle frequently changing business priorities);
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and issue resolution skills;
  • Ability to manage under difficult and stressful situations;
  • Great communication skills, ability to present to senior management teams, write and negotiate in German, Hungarian and English, additional languages (e.g. French) are preferred.
