Food & Beverage Manager

At Maasmechelen Village, we are looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to plan, develop and execute the food and beverage management activities of the Village to drive sales targets and enhance excellent guest experiences in the Village.

As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will ensure our guests receive the highest level of food quality and service within the Village through excellent working relationships with our Food brands. In this role, you will work closely and in support of the Retail Director with a dotted line to the Central Food & Beverage Director of Operations.

You ensure that the Village achieves its sales targets, food and beverage strategy and provides an excellent guest experience by:

· Developing excellent relationships with existing restaurants and cafés that are conducive to maximising sales and business opportunities within the Village.

· Ensuring service delivery at every point of sale in the Food and Beverage areas and that guests are satisfied and receive high quality service.

· Maintaining and developing personal knowledge and expertise to provide guidance to Restaurant managers and enhance profitability.

· Providing input to implement the Village strategy through analysis of hospitality trends, customer behaviours and key seasonal dates.

· An excellent understanding of the (inter)national food & beverage sector.

· Experience working within a managerial role within food and beverage sectors.

· A Hospitality degree or equivalent.

· Fluency in English and local Village languages.

· Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise varying demands whilst working under pressure and outstanding attention to detail.

· Natural leadership skills and passion about working with people

· Having strong influence, communication and negotiating skills. Really knowing how to set up a strong team.

· Flexibility to work on a shift pattern basis, including weekends
