Total Scope of the request (hours): 650
Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
- Upgrade/reinstall existing SCOM instances to the latest level;
- Install, configure and troubleshoot SCOM management packs including third party management packs used to monitor network, storage, applications, etc;
- Install and configure SCOM servers to enable monitoring across different Active Directory domains;
- Administers SCOM(Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager) systems;
- Tune the SCOM configuration to prevent false-positive alerts;
- Take necessary actions to ensure all elements of IT services are monitored;
- Monitor the SCOM environments and take appropriate actions;
- Investigates and resolves issues in a systematic approach;
- Performs other duties as may be required
Requirements:
- Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
- Current in-depth knowledge and practical work experience of SCOM (Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager) in a large scale LAN-based client-server environment;
- Recent experience on design, installation and maintenance of SCOM environments over multiple Active Directory domains;
- In-depth knowledge of installation and configuration of SCOM management packs;
- Experience with configuring monitoring of Linux based systems with SCOM;
- Ability to quickly analyse and implement third party SCOM management packs;
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
