Responsibilities

The AI engineer will have to develop AI models and solutions using Azure tools, integrate AI solutions within existing company systems, comprehensive documentation and reports on AI projects and best practices, technical mentorship and knowledge transfer to future team members.

AI solution development

  • Collaborate with the Solution Architect to identify and define AI use cases
  • Design and develop AI models using Azure Openai and Azure Machine Learning
  • Set and monitor KPI, metrics and best practices in order to insure solutions give the expected results and performance

Azure AI tools expertise

  • Use Azure AI Studio for model development and deployment
  • Preprocess documents and data to implement AI search solutions (using Azure AI Search)
  • Integrate AI solutions with other Azure services as required

Data management

  • Work with data engineers to gather, preprocess, and manage datasets
  • Ensure data quality and readiness for AI model training and evaluation

Project collaboration and leadership

  • Provide technical guidance and expertise in AI to the team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems
  • Assist in training and onboarding future AI team members

Documentation and reporting

  • Document AI solutions, development processes, and best practices
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders

Continuous learning and innovation

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI technologies and methodologies
  • Explore and evaluate alternative AI tools and platforms beyond Azure
  • Propose innovative solutions and improvements to existing processes
  • Being able to work temporarily as a data engineer to prepare and gather the data

Requirements

Technical skills

  • Azure Expertise : Proficient with Azure AI tools, including Azure AI Studio, Azure Openai, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure AI Search. (Must)
  • Programming in Python : Strong experience with libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, and PySpark for AI and data engineering tasks. (Must)
  • Data Engineering : Experience in data preprocessing, transformation, and building ETL pipelines with tools like Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory. (Must)
  • AI/ML Frameworks : Proficient in model training and deployment using frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch. (Should)
  • Database Skills : Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases for data manipulation and Storage. (Must)
  • Version Control : Experience with GIT for Version Control and collaboration. (Must)
  • Other AI Platforms : Familiarity with AWS SageMaker, Google Cloud AI, and IBM Watson is a plus. (Nice to have)

Experience

  • Proven experience in developing and deploying AI solutions using Azure services - minimum 3 years (Must)
  • Experience in implementing generative AI models and natural language processing (NLP). Minimum 1 year (Must)
  • Previous consulting experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to work in diverse team environments

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
