About Qcify

Qcify builds quality inspection systems for the food industry based on computer vision and deep learning. We are a fast growing scale-up with customers on five continents. Wanted: Application Engineer

We are looking for afull time application engineer to join the team in Belgium (Herentals). Your main responsibility will be to maintain existing Qcifymachine learning solutions and to onboard new applications on the Qcify machines.

Majority of our customers are California based and active in the treenut (almond, pistachio, walnut) industry and an evolving customer base in Europe.

Our application engineers understand the need of our customers andcapture the machine learning requirements and training data. They operate the Qcify AI training pipeline to improve existing applications and to onboard completely new applications.

The application engineering team provides an essential bridge between our customers and our engineering team. They keep an eye on customer satisfaction and bring customer requirements to the engineering roadmap. They work with engineering to build reliable solutions and take these back to the customer for evaluation and deployment.

Your profile

• Attention to detail, a quality oriented mindset to push our solutions to the next level.
• Relevant technical or science degree. Young graduates are welcome.
• Experience with python or a strong interest(Computer vision and machine learning). You will be working on our AI training pipeline and further integration of our data ops and machine learning ops platforms.
• Willingness to travel to our customers
• Excellent communication skills and fluent language skills (English) are required, Dutch is a strong plus
• Extra language skillsare nice to have
